Deepen your love for Jesus Christ

and

for other Orthodox Christians

“AND LET US CONSIDER HOW WE MAY SPUR ONE ANOTHER ON TOWARD LOVE AND GOOD DEEDS, NOT GIVING UP MEETING TOGETHER,…ENCOURAGING ONE ANOTHER”

                                                       – Epistle to the Hebrews 10:24–25

If we give ourselves over to the love of Christ, everything will be altered, everything will be remade, everything will be transformed. Rage, anger, jealousy, envy, frustration, judgment, ingratitude, melancholy, and despondency all become love, joy, desire, and burning divine love. Paradise!

Draw closer to God through One Another

& To One Another Through God

“At the Last Judgment I shall not be asked whether I was successful in my ascetic exercises, nor how many bows and protrations I made. Instead, I shal be asked…did I feed the hungry, clothe the naked, visit the sick and the prisoners. That is all I shall be asked. About every poor, hungry and imprisoned person the Savior says “I”… “I was hungry, and thirsty, I was sick and in prison….”

– St. Maria (Skobtsova) of Paris

Our Agreement

By the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ,

the love of God the Father

and the communion of the Holy Spirit,

we gather as members of the Body of Christ

to support one another in loving God

and in loving our neighbor as our self

as the Lord asks us to do.

All that is said here we will hold in confidence

so that each of us may,

in good trust

speak truthfully

and with love

“‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets” (Mt 32:37-40)

“Whoever does not love does not know God; because God is love. And the love of God was made manifest among us especially in this, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him.... God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in them” (1 Jn. 4.8–9,16)

“By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another”

– Jesus Christ (Gospel According to St. John 15:17)
